ZnO + CO ➞ Zn + CO2 (Eq 1)
The carbon monoxide used above is prepared from
2C + O2 ➞ 2CO (Eq 2)
If 87.5 g of C reacts with excess of oxygen gas, and ZnO is in excess, how many grams of Zn can be obtained?
